Operational Approach
This is a photographic field expedition undertaken to enable sustained landscape and environmental photography along Namibia’s Skeleton Coast. The work requires extended, self-supported overland travel and the ability to remain on location over time. The vehicle is a logistical necessity rather than the subject of the project, enabling access, safety, and continuity in one of Southern Africa’s most remote coastal regions.
Fieldwork (Mid-June to Mid-September)
- Extended overland travel under isolated coastal conditions.
- Minimal environmental impact through patient, observational methods.
- Focus on vehicle reliability, route planning, and logistical continuity.
Post-Field Documentation
- Observations are reviewed and sequenced to provide structured operational records.
- Emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and environmental context rather than artistic interpretation.
